Surfers Paradise 17-year-old Shannon Eckstein sprinted to victory to win the Uncle Tobys Super Series Trial at Mooloolaba yesterday to claim the first of nine series positions on offer. Racing in a 1m surf with a torrid shore dump, Eckstein crossed ahead of Maroubra's Kane Heussner with North C
